FALL 2024 FAMILY MINI SESSIONS
Please read through everything carefully, as there's a lot of different things happening this fall.

This is a BIG year for the University of Texas at Austin…
1) UT has left the Big 12 for the SEC
2) The iconic main Tower will undergo its first-ever renovation and will be under construction (and completely under scaffolding) very very soon until March 2027.
So as a proud alum, I felt it was necessary to offer some alma mater themed family mini sessions around campus this fall to not only show your school spirit (and stand out from the sea of traditional holiday photos) but also get pictures with the original tower before it gets a major facelift.
Please note: These minis are scattered throughout the months of August, September, October and November. The ones scheduled in August are before the college term starts and are intentionally done early so you will get your images back by the beginning of football season.
And if you are someone who didn’t go to the research university in Austin, Texas — the campus is absolutely beautiful for pictures. Check out some of the mini session locations offerings below.
PSA: When you click on a time-slot, that spot is held for 15 minutes. It is common for someone to click a spot, but not secure it, so if you don't get a spot initially, please continue to refresh every few minutes because spots may become available.

Football Stadium Mini

THIS IS SET UP ON THIS DATE SO YOU GET YOUR PICTURES BACK AT THE BEGINNING OF FOOTBALL SEASON
Perfect for the family/couple who wants a picture in front of the two most popular campus destinations. This is a great spot for little kids as they can run near the fountain on the six pack (should the lawn be open at the time of the session). Will include pompoms and football for the kiddos.
Turtle Pond + Tower Mini

GREAT FOR KIDS AS THEY CAN ENJOY WATCHING TURTLES SWIMMING AND SUNNING THEMSELVES.
Perfect for the family/couple who wants pictures with the beloved Turtle Pond and Tower.

Green Door + Tower Mini

Mini Sessions vs Full Sessions
If you’re torn between a full session and a mini session, you’re not alone. The answer is going to be different for each family, and may change from year to year as your kids get older and their needs and attention spans change.
Mini Sessions are great for…
…families who desire just a few groupings and are looking for a more posed look. You will NOT get an image of every family set up (ie each kid, kid with mom, kid with dad etc.) While I try to capture the in-between moments of your family & traditional smiling pics, 15 min isn't that much time. Please understand if your family takes time to warm up to the camera or you want a diverse gallery, a full session is a better option.
Full Sessions are great for…
…families who want the full experience. We have a full hour which allows for your children to warm up or take a break if needed. We’ll also have time for them to run, jump, play games and HAVE a ton of fun (pinky promise)! And when the kids are having fun, the parents soon follow. :) And guess what happens? I get to capture the wide range of real and beautiful emotions and connections. You’ll also receive 30+ fully-retouched images and a $50 print credit. If this is more your pace, see below.
